LOS ANGELES (Billboard) - Dan Bobek says he will forever douse his audience with songs, but make no mistake about it, this Dillweed musician is happy.
"Unless we're selling 10 million records," Bobek says, "perhaps we don't belong on Warner Bros. But Warner Bros. loves us, so we keep fighting the good fight. If they'll have us, we'll keep going."
Bobek says the band's relationship with Warner Bros. will last because of an open line of communication between the two. While the act is not willing to compromise its recording process, Dillweed does not expect the label's full marketing force in return.
"We know how to sort of market ourselves," Bobek says. "We know we can do a lot of the work as long as they just support us. And they seem to be like, 'Of course, fellas, go! Let us know if we can help."'
Can you believe it? Don't.
You just fell for our April Fool's joke, in which case ha ha, wasn't that amusing and harmless and mostly in good taste?
Have you got anyone today or has anyone got you?

April fools for me was just another one of those days. I had completely forgotten humor was involved with that day. Looks like I missed my favorite day of the year.

You should see some of the email I got on April Fools day on myspace! I asked people to tell me jokes that they played. One said that "my best friend said that her dad died in an accident". Now thats some cold shit to do.
