Kill Bosby lives on! With new members, Tim and Austin (bass & drums) Bosby, we look to be a group again. It has been miserable without anything going on. Look for the new site, www.killbosby.com in a couple of weeks as we add Dane back into the mix. Um, well, that's about it for now. Just wanted to let you folks know I am going to try and book our first show in IC later this summer. Peace -thebigO

Thats Great News! Can't wait to see the new site. Maybe we can book together for the same night. Also, where are some good places to play in Omaha? We are hitting Duggan's Pub in Lincoln this summer and it would be great to hit Omaha as well. I was hoping maybe you guys would be ready by then to do a show with us there as well. Did Tim get the disc I sent him? Post a pic of that strat mang... Get a Zoom 707! Just kidding! Actually, what effects do you already have?

The best places here to play are as follows;
The Ranch Bowl The 49er The Music Box The Dubliner Oleavers
There are more but I can't remember them all. I will get back to you...Best bet would be The Ranch Bowl.
As far as pedals go, I am thinking about a BOSS GT-6 ... It is pretty sweet. I am starting from scratch because I hate all my effects.
I don't think Tim got the CD yet, but I will ask. I will also post pics of my new guitar when I figure out how.
We will be ready pretty soon. Austin picks up drums for this stuff really quick so it's just a matter of time.
We WILL play together...maybe we can even mix and match members...I said members.

Sweet! Thanks for the list.
As far as the BOSS GT-6 goes I was seriously considering getting one. They really are pretty sweet. They have one here at the Pro Shop that I tried out for an hour or so. I still may do it but i went with a behringer v-amp for now since its made more for recording. Now that we are playing out again its something to consider.
Maybe you could ask tim to let me know when he gets it. I just worry about that kind of stuff. Anyway, do you guys think you would be ready by the end of july? I could see if we can add you to the bill for the weekend of July 24th. We will have to do some swapping. Plus the Reacharounds will be there as well.
Catch you later

Dan,
Where will the show be? We can be ready in some form or another. What if it was acoustic? Would that work out? "some form or" ha ha ha ... Sorry.
Tim Bosby is currently obsessing over an acoustic bass from Carvin. He doth covet it. If he gets it, we'll probably do it that way. If not, we'll just have to grill Austin Bosby for a solid month.
How much did they want for that BOSS GT-6 in IC? Just curious.

I am speaking with Tim via ICQ right now. I will be ready, Dane will be ready, Tim will be ready (but he has low self confidence or something). He is already ready... Um, Tim? -thebigO

I'll do any show as long as we have some time to practice beforehand. I'd like the acoustic bass but I can use an electric... I don't think Austin Bosby will be ready yet, but maybe... a stripped down show would be fun though. Maybe he could play congas or something. Where is the show? Hopefully not Knickerbocker's...I don't like that place. But it doesn't really matter.
Peace,
-Tim Bosby

I was worn beady.
I forgot to mention...another fun place to play in Omaha is the Amarillo, which isn't actually in Omaha, it's in Bellevue (just south of Omaha.) It's a little BBQ joint, which supposedly has outstanding food...though I didn't try it because the one time I was there, I had already eaten. Anyway...they have a basic PA but it didn't work too phenomenally and they were kind of retarded as to how to work it. BUT they are extremely nice people, happy to have any band play, especially if you can get a good crowd. They paid three of us $100 and free beer/food.
Peace,
Tim Bosby

Thanks for teh email addy. I'll see what I can do. Hey Tim, is there a way to get ahold of the Amarillo to see if we can play there on that Friday when we come to NE? That could be great too. This is the Boss I was looking at not the one you had stated. Though the one you were talking about is a step up from this one. I still might get it.

Dan,
The BOSS ME-50 can be purchased through Musician's Friend for 299.00 we free shipping. No payment plan unless you have the MF card, but it's cheaper.
Just head's up. Did you really like it? I have yet to try one out. Also, the comparable Digitech pedal (to the GT-6) is around 249.00 ... That's a steal.
Where are you staying when you are up here? I don't know where I will be staying yet but if I have a place to stay, you're welcome to stay there also.
